Ended up via a google search of various keyboard technology. :)

I too have, shall we say, strong feeling regarding the input devices I use to interface with my computers. I actually spent some time these past couple of weeks trying to find a decent online community dedicated to the obsession…however, I was unsuccessful. So, I set up a forum of my own. http://geekhack.org

Feel free to stop by. There DO seem to be some good blogs out there, so I may setup a user blog section and import RSS feeds…allowing users to get more exposure for their sites.

Since you seem quite interested in keyboards, I figured you might in interested in a contest I am cooking up to help launch the site. Basically, my idea is to have people submit an essay to the forum detailing why I should give them a free keyboard (maybe a HHKB Pro or another desirable model). I figure that might be a good way to increase awareness of the site’s existence (of course, it might also just get me slashdot’ed). :)

Anyways, again, great blog. I am enjoying reading through the archives.

Also the Cherry Cymotion keyboard line has probably the best rubber-domes out there.

Oh, sorry Jo. This post actually originally came with a picture. That picture got lost when I converted blogging software.

I'll restore the picture.

I find the comparison certainly true of the campus housing at Notre Dame. (Albeit I haven't carefully toured any of the undergrad buildings.) The (only slightly) longer walk to the library is a bonus in a job that involves sitting for about 12 hr/day, 6 days/wk... :)

What made the grad dorms at Princeton nicer?

I had the same problem. I only notice it on certain pics. I had taken a landscape picture of sky and ocean with my D70s Raw+Basic JPEG. The jpg came out with an amazing turquoise color in the sky. no matter what I do to the raw file in Adobe bridge I can't recreate it. The client wanted the image blown up to poster size. well I had to use the Basic jpeg :( It may have been different using Nikon's Capture NX but I can't justify buying it...

"People" are not irritated by Lost because they have a short attention span. They are irritated because after two seasons, there's hasn't been one satisfactory answer to a single question or bizarre coincidence. And it doesn't seem like the writers are "deepening" the plot this season so much as killing time and trying to maintain their audience by reminding us that there are still a lot of unanswered questions.

The season premiere was all about Sawyer staring at Kate's ass. Then, nothing happens except Sayid and the Koreans lose the boat. What was the point of the sweatlodge sequence this week to make Locke realize he had to save Ecko? A ouiji board would've been less time consuming. Unless Locke was so bored with the show he just wanted to get high. Finally, Desmond wakes up naked and can see the future...? I wonder if he will become a heroin addict and paint his visions.

I'll be pleasantly surprised if they turn things around this season. Until then, the writers are just cashing in on the audience's patience.
